Little Rock, AR (July 8, 2025) – The National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) announces
Arkansas Wolves FC as the league's sixth club to participate in the 2025 NISA Pro Cup this fall.
The Arkansas Wolves FC were founded in 2019 and have three teams. The men's first team
competes in the National Premier Soccer League, while the second men's U-23 academy team
participates in the United Premier Soccer League. The women's first team competes in both the
UPSL Women's division and the United Women's Soccer Division 1 league. The Wolves also have
a player development academy and a futsal academy team. The club's mission is to grow the game
of soccer in Arkansas by offering high-level, accessible training and playing opportunities while
modeling our core values of Respect, Teamwork, Perseverance, Integrity, Humility, Inclusiveness,
and Collaboration.
"We are honored to represent Arkansas in the NISA Pro Cup and showcase what our players, coaches, and supporters have worked so hard to build," said Founder and General Manager Dr. Sean Paul Jones. "Soccer is more than a game to us—it's a tool for community, character, and connection. This tournament gives our state a bigger stage, and we're ready to show that Arkansas belongs."
The Arkansas Wolves FC qualified for the NPSL playoffs during the 2022 season. The club also
clinched the AR-OK UPSL Conference title during the 2023 season. During the 2024 fall season,
the Wolves defeated Tulsa Athletic in the 2024 OK-AR conference final to win the conference
championship. The club qualified for the UPSL National Playoffs and made it to the quarterfinals
before falling to the El Paso Rush ACM3. The club has also focused on developing local talent by
signing young players from the Little Rock area. The Arkansas Wolves all-time top goal scorer,
Maurice Theart, who has played for the club for five seasons and scored 42 goals across all
competitions, signed a pro contract in March to join Hanover Park FC in the Motsepe League in South Africa.
NISA will announce more participating clubs for the 2025 NISA Pro Cup in the coming days and
